The Evolution of CreativeBodyFlow
Aerial Instructor Training

Aerial Instructor Training
Renae has been a pioneer in aerial yoga hammock education over the last 10 years. Renae was trained in 2010 in NYC by the creator of the aerial hammock, Christopher Harrison and became the principal educator for Christopher Harrison’s AntiGravity® Fitness technique for Australia and New Zealand.

In 2012, Renae conducted a Master Research with the University of QLD investigating the therapeutic benefits of the aerial hammock for reducing symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress in youth of refugee background. This research went on to inspire other diverse clinical applications of the aerial hammock in areas such as cancer and injury rehabilitation, disability and working with children with neurodevelopmental challenges.
In 2015, Renae hosted the first Australian and NZ Aerial instructor conference aimed at bringing clinicians and instructors together to share their findings and forge a new path for the aerial hammock in innovative health and wellness practice.

Since this time, Renae has sought mentorship and collaboration with leading practitioners in Psychology, Yoga Therapy and Physiotherapy, to assist in the creation of an education pathway for instructors and clinicians that provides a safe framework in which to harness the therapeutic benefits of the aerial hammock.

These innovative professionals are now contributing to the CreativeBodyFlow Aerial Intructor course delivery and generously sharing their unique and extensive expertise.
