Arriving to the Gold Coast Hinterland in Tamborine Mountain for your Teacher’s Summit is an invitation to immerse yourself in the healing practice of Aerial Yoga and the magic of this beautiful rainforest paradise. Here you are in a safe space to heal and reset your mind toward the most meaningful aspects of life.
Our Teachers’ Summit events welcome both past graduates from our courses along with those still completing their studies. Here you can take advantage of the shared learning opportunities as we gather in one special place to hold in-depth discussions, harvest ideas for your own classes back home and build strong support networks within the growing global family of Aerial Yoga educators and Health Professionals.
Take the time to embody the practice so that teaching will naturally flow from your own experience and understanding.
Discover your unique talents, purpose and passion as an educator. Each day during the Teachers Summit will include embodiment practice time with 5hrs of specialised aerial hammock tuition specific to the certificate course curriculum. We will have the opportunity to separate into smaller groups in our aerial teacher skill-building sessions and you can also book private sessions with your mentor during the weekend if you wish.
Remove yourself from the busy-ness of life. Give one-pointed focus to your personal and professional development - it is an invaluable opportunity.
Learning has so many layers. Deep learning requires taking the opportunity to go beyond our surface knowledge and investigate our authentic understanding through reflection. It can help us build on our strengths, address our areas for growth, and develop our problem-solving abilities.
During the Teacher’s Summit, participants will have time to share with colleagues in a free-form way while enjoying time over meals, walks in the rainforest and refreshing waterfall swims.
Sharing our experience is so valuable! For example, learning from others' best and worst teaching experiences, and understanding innovative ways to deal with particularly complex situations can be invaluable on our teaching journey. Each sunset we will hold a sharing circle where we will focus on creative reflecting, teaching philosophy, practical skills, and self-practices in mental and physical care to cultivate resilience and inspiration in our helping profession.
Our Teacher Summits provide you with luxury accommodation at The Retreat in Tamborine Mountain a beautiful property on 12,000+ m2 of mountain pastures, complete with its own rainforest. Here you will find both opportunity for private sanctuary and the chance to enjoy breakfast with the Kookaburras! You may choose to join group activities including dinners out with other participants or choose to be independent and making use of the retreats fully equipped kitchen facilities.
